Client Coordinator position, Clarksville, TN

If you can answer YES to each one of these then we want to meet you! We are Luster Salon and we are currently looking to add a front desk member to our team. This opening is +/- 30 hours/week and is a permanent position (NOT temporary or seasonal.)
Who is Luster Salon you ask? We are a distinguished and reputable salon in Clarksville. We are located at 350 Warfield Boulevard, real close to the intersection of Ted Crozier Boulevard. So what’s this job opening all about? Here are just a few of the responsibilities of the position:
-Opening and closing the salon
-Initiating and completing the salon guest experience
-Answering a multi-line phone and booking reservations
-Helping salon guests with haircare and makeup selections.
-Providing support to stylists
-Maintaining salon inventory and supplies

Hours are Monday 8-5, Tuesday 8-2, Wednesday 2-8 and Thursday 2-8. Having the flexibility to swap with other front desk staff if the need arose would be a huge plus (like being available every once in awhile on Fridays and Saturdays.)
Being proficient with a desktop computer. It may be a given these days but we thought we would still mention it.🙂
Having a professional appearance. We are in a creative and style based industry and we also work directly with the public. Hair, makeup, and attire need to all be spot on!
Having a mature, upbeat and positive attitude. Sometimes this is called having “customer service” skills. You have to be able to deal with all sorts of personalities plus handle challenges, all while keeping that proverbial smile on your face. Strong phone skills are also a must. Speaking to potential new guests with the utmost professionalism and cheeriness needs to come naturally to you.
Finally, compensation is hourly and would start at a rate that would be commensurate with the experience you bring to the position. Once the probationary period is complete (this can take up to 90 days) you could advance to $10-$14 per hour.
